Emily is 1!! We celebrated with a fun indoor/outdoor family session, followed by a smash cake. And boy, did that cake get smashed!

I’ve photographed this family at the same location for years and its different every time. One of the joys of my job is seeing yearly changes and growth in families, kids, vegetation/nature, and my own photographic style.

I am seriously in love with this maternity session. They were such a fun, relaxed couple and the evening was absolutely beautiful. And they are definitely ready for this baby – their 2 adorable doggies are great training for their adventure into parenthood!

Isaac is such a happy, smily little man. It was fun to see how much he grew over the last few months and help celebrate his 1st birthday. Happy 1 year Isaac!
