I know that “sneak peeks” are a big thing with photographers. A day or two after your photo session, they post a couple images from your session to tide you over while you wait for the rest of your images to be ready (which may take weeks).
I used to do that, but I don’t anymore.
I found that I was wasting a lot of time selecting and editing those few “sneak peeks” when I could instead use that time to work toward editing the whole gallery and sending ALL the final images to my clients sooner.
It doesn’t get me as much social media attention, but I think my clients appreciate getting all their images sooner rather than seeing a couple and then waiting longer for the rest. While “likes”, comments, and shares are always appreciated, my main goal is to have fast turnaround times and happy clients.
