Kim and I met in college and traveled around the world together. We have watched each other get married and have babies. We see each other regularly to walk, ski or kayak, chat about books, and support each other as we start to navigate the world of parenting teenagers. I have always admired Kim’s calm, inquisitive nature and I’m so grateful to have her as a friend. I am delighted every time I get to spend time with her and her family. They are truly a great bunch.
