I enjoy all of my newborn sessions, but this one was particularly special for me because its the baby of two of my dear friends. Jenny, Pat, and I went to high school together. Jenny and I were inseparable. And she and Pat were inseparable. They have been together ever since and are some of the most caring, loyal, and decent people that I know. I was over-the-moon excited for them when their daughter, Josie, came along. She is a perfect blend of the two of them, and yet still a complete individual who has brought them so much richness, chaos and joy over the years. And now baby Leo has arrived! He is as perfect as they come and sure to be well-loved and taken care of with big sister Josie around. I couldn’t have been more excited to meet and photograph this little nugget and I can’t wait to watch him grow up.
